The purpose of Men’s Ministry at Wintonbury is to encourage and equip one another to love God and live Christ at home, in our communities and beyond. Here's what is coming up:
Men's Hike and BBQ
Men of Wintonbury can all enjoy a day of food, fun, and fellowship on a fun hike up to Hueblein Tower through beautiful Talcott Mountain State park. This is an opportunity to meet get to know other men of our congregation and to spend some quality ‘male bonding’ time together. We will enjoy the magnificence of God’s creation as well as some great food and exercise together. Please join us!
Who: Men 13+
What: Men’s Hike and BBQ Fellowship event to Hueblein Tower.
Date: Saturday, May 4th (rain or shine)
Time: 10am - 2pm
Where to Meet: Talcott Mountain trail head at 10 am or the church parking lot at 9:45am and carpool over.
Cost: $5 for food
Bring: Appropriate dress and gear for the weather (jacket, shoes, sunscreen, hat, etc.) Please bring a back pack too!
Please sign up by May 1st, so we can make appropriate plans for food. We will start heading up the trail at about 10:10 am and have a BBQ close to Noon. We will head back down at approximately 1 pm. Contact Jeff Schultz with any questions. 860-830-3806 or
