Staff Spotlight | Faith Franklin
We are excited to introduce one of our newest staff members, Faith Franklin! She and her husband Shawn have been attending Wintonbury for about 13 years. During this time, Faith has served in Children's Ministry; Shawn, a talented musician, has served on our Worship Team; and more recently, Shawn, Faith and their two sons, ages 11 and 6, have been part of Wintonbury's Welcome Team.
Faith recently joined the Wintonbury Staff Team as the Children's Ministry Assistant Director. (Jessie Passon, the former Assistant Director, has moved into a smaller volunteer role within the Children's Ministry program so that she has more time for her exciting business and family adventures.) We thought you'd like to get to know Faith better so we asked her a few questions. You can read her answers (with just a wee bit of editing on my part) below.

How did you begin attending Wintonbury?
Shawn and I just started looking for churches after we were married. I worked with someone attending Evangelical Free Church in Westfield and they had friends who attended Wintonbury. We came once, got our hug from Andre and knew right away this was our church home. That was 13 years ago.
When did you first join the Wintonbury Staff Team?
What is your role?
Assistant Director of Children's Ministries
I am assisting Traci in preparation, planning, and implementation of children's ministry activities, programs, and special events. I'm also serving as an administrator on Sunday mornings
What do you like most about serving children and families at Wintonbury?
Getting to know the children and families better in order to help come along side both children and parents as they venture through their faith journey together and to help build into and support teachers.
How have you seen or experienced God at work in this ministry?
I've seen God repeatedly "fill in the gaps" where needed and have seen His provision and hand in the changes and growth of the children's ministry from construction to volunteers and new families. I feel God has equipped me and prepared me for this position over the last few years and now He has opened the door and pushed me past my comfort zone into this new role.
Faith's faithful service, administrative skills, positive attitude and sweet spirit have been a blessing to Wintonbury for many years. We are thrilled to have her on the staff team. Next time you see her, take a moment to say, hello!
