Changing lives through the power of a simple gift. Operation Christmas Child (OCC) provides needed supplies to children 102 countries along with the Gospel message in the child's own language.

How You Can Help
Wintonbury expects to collect over 10,000 shoe boxes from churches all around Connecticut. You can help by:

  • greeting guests and helping with shoebox intake.
  • packing shoeboxes into shipping cartons.
  • loading shoeboxes on the tractor trailer.
  • providing snacks and baked goods for volunteers and guests.
  • Help especially needed Sunday, November 20, 1:30 - 8pm, when we expect approximately 6,000 shoeboxes on this Sunday alone. Lots of heavy lifting from 5:30 - 8pm! Not a great day for families with young children to volunteer.

Contact Julie or sign up in the Connection Center to volunteer.
