Wintonbury Kidz | Nursery, Preschool & Kindergarten
Care and classes start at the beginning of 9 and 11am services in the Early Childhood Wing. Our enthusiastic, trained and committed volunteers provide a safe and fun environment where little ones learn about God through music, Bible story time, prayer, age-appropriate activities and plenty of time for play. Our Kindergarten class occasionally joins the Elementary kids in the Great Room for special events such as guest speakers, game days or service projects.
Wintonbury Kidz | Elementary
9am: Children in 1st - 4th grade attend worship with their parents and then are release to class where they participate in grade level classes. The curriculum, Bible Studies for Life, helps kids connect the Bible to their life in an intentional way with age-appropriate life points, creative teaching elements and family resources. Weekly classes also include prayer, an offering and time to connect with teachers.
11am: Children age four through grade six come together for Holy Moly, an age-adaptable curriculum that alternates between the Old and New Testament. Children are divided into two mixed age groups: primary (age four - grade two) and elementary (grades three - six) where they have an opportunity to spend time with older and younger friends.
Wintonbury Kidz | Club 56
Offered at the 9am service only, Club 56 is a special class just for 5th and 6th grade students. The tween-age years are a pivotal time in the discipleship journey of a young person. This focused ministry for tweens uses Connect, an age-appropriate curriculum that bridges the gap between children's and youth ministry. Students and their leaders have opportunities to talk, learn, serve, and have fun together. Children attend worship with their parents and are released by the Worship Leader to the Upper Lobby where they meet their teachers. After services, parents may pick up students in the Rec Room, located in the basement of the church office building next door.
Note: All Wintonbury Kidz volunteers are carefully screened through an application and interview process; they also must agree to and pass a criminal background check before working with our children.
