We are so glad you’re interested in joining the Wintonbury Church Worship Team.

We believe that worship is a heart posture of surrender to God and an opportunity to steward our best talents for His glory. We are a family that blends contemporary worship, classic hymns, and a bit of soulful gospel to create a unique sound for our community.

Our Process

We value transparency and relationship. We want to get to know you as a worshiper first and a musician second. Our audition process is designed to be simple and relational:

Step 1: The Application

Fill out the brief form below. This helps us get to know your background, your heart for ministry, and your musical experience.

Step 2: The Video Submission

Please film yourself playing or singing two songs that reflect the breadth of our sound:

  - Video A : A contemporary worship song (CCM) that shows us your technical ability and comfort with a click/track.

  - Video B : A hymn or a song with a soulful/gospel feel. We want to see your ability to the music, adapt to dynamics, and lead from a place of worship.

Step 3: The Chemistry Read

If we feel like your gifts align with our current team needs, we will invite you to an in-person session. It’s less of an interrogation and more of a chance to see how we play together and to discuss how we can grow your gifts within our team. Music needs musicians and songs are better with singers! Auditions for instrumental musicians and vocalists are held at various times throughout the year.
