André R
Lead Pastor
After serving as an associate pastor at Wintonbury for 14 years, André assumed the role of Lead Pastor on July 1, 2012. He is a 1986 graduate of the University of New Hampshire and graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree from Bethel Seminary in 2008. As a gifted visionary, André leads Wintonbury in its mission to serve and glorify the Lord, while preaching on Sundays with great joy and passion. André loves sports (especially golf), reading about U.S. Presidents and spending time with his wife, Diane and their two sons.
Dave B
Executive Pastor
Dave, a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, became Wintonbury's first ever Executive Pastor on August 1, 2012. He and his wife, Cheryl, have been married for 38 years, have seven children and three grandchildren. He loves people and loves to see them using their gifts in commitment and sacrifice to Jesus. Dave embodies the vision, mission and values of Wintonbury, where he pursues the passion God put on his heart. Reach out to him and learn more about Wintonbury.
Annmarie B
Women's Ministry Director
Annmarie oversees Women's Ministry at Wintonbury. She works together with a team of volunteers to bless and encourage women through mentoring, small groups, Bible studies, special events and more. Annmarie also spearheads The Underground, an organization of churches that work together, lighting the way to freedom for victims of human trafficking in Connecticut. She loves the excitement that God generates in the hearts of the Wintonbury people as they serve in His name, as well as the preaching and teaching at Wintonbury. Annmarie and her husband, Brian, love to travel, spend time with their adult daughter and entertain family and friends in their beautiful home.
Faith F
NextGen Administrator
Faith joined the Wintonbury Staff in 2017 serving in our children’s ministry, and is now the NextGen Administrator. She and her husband Shawn have been attending Wintonbury for over 15 years and live in Windsor Locks with their two school-age sons. A native of Michigan, Faith finds New England falls and winters charming - she even loves snow! Faith enjoys reading, organizing (she is super organized!), and shopping, hates having her feet tickled, and her favorite food is anything with cheese.
Alex G
Worship Leader
Alex was born in Cuba into a very musical family. It was not uncommon to see him playing piano in church at a very young age. He moved to the United States with his parents and younger sister in 2001, at the age of 9. He is a graduate of the University of Hartford where he met his now wife, Laura. At UHart, he played baseball and co-led FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), while majoring in Economics and Finance. After college, he went on to play professional baseball until retiring in 2018. Alex and his wife, Laura, live in Vernon, CT and have two young children. He greatly enjoys spending time with friends and being In community, but he treasures spending time with his family. Alex brings enthusiasm into anything he does and is excited about cultivating a culture of authentic worship, community, and excellence through music. Alex's favorite hymn is At The Cross.
Tom S
Campus Maintenance Officer
Tom and his wife Tina love Gods people and live in Willington CT. They attended Wintonbury from 2014-2017 and returned 2021. They have 5 young grandkids that keep breaking things around the house, so Tom naturally has lots of superglue and forgiveness. Tom has served on the worship team as a drummer and in counseling ministry. Tom's corporate experience includes working as a project manager for several fortune 500 companies in New England. He brings years of personal experience in the construction trades and shares his gifts with the body as he is able. His role is as an "officer" so he wanted a badge and access to various donuts.... go figure!
Heather M
Multimedia Specialist
Heather is Wintonbury’s multimedia specialist working on graphics and social and web media. Heather has been attending Wintonbury for over 15 years. She recently got married and is enjoying married life. Heather and her husband, Mike, are dreaming of starting a farm one day. Heather loves traveling, sports, and cooking. If you have any good recipes you’re willing to share, feel free to send them her way.
Margy S
Administrative Assistant
Margy is a master juggler...not necessarily of objects but of all the assorted things her position requires! Chances are if you call or visit the office, she will be the one to greet you. She and her husband, Tom, have two adult sons, Daniel and Chris. Margy is a California girl by birth. She loves ballroom dancing, cruising and a good challenge. Which might explain why she took up snowboarding at an age when many people are hanging up their skis!
Brian S
NextGen Pastor
Brian, his wife Kelly, and their five children have been attending Wintonbury since 2014. Brian worked as the Middle School Math & Science teacher at the Cornerstone Christian School in Manchester, CT from 2014 to 2021. Before that, Brian worked for over 16 years as a full-time Youth Pastor at three different churches. Brian brings energy and passion to everything he does. He is excited to help the next generation (birth to young adults) grow in community as well as grow to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Brian enjoys time with his wife and family, sports, exercise, movies and travel.
Ruth B
Director of Connections
Ruth has a passion for developing community and creating spaces that foster both good connections and a sense of belonging. Originally from England, she relocated to the US in 2016 with her husband Dave. They have three adult children and two beautiful grandchildren. Ruth has a background in teaching and hospitality and brings a wealth of experience to the team.
